Biography

She studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received the title of psychiatrist's specialty in 2004. She attended for one year the ASM13 postgraduate psychotherapeutic program in Paris (2004-2005), attended seminars of the Paris Psychoanalytic Society (SPP) and the seminar “Psychanalyse et Psychotherapie” of the “Centre de psychanalyse et de psychotherapie Evelyne et Jean Kestemberg”, ASM 13. She worked as a psychiatrist at the unit of Eating Disorders of the Institut National Marcel Riviere in Paris (2005-2008). Since October 2008 she has been working as a psychiatrist at the ANASA Day Care Center for Eating Disorders in Athens, and since February 2015 she has been Head of the Scientific Team of ANASA Day Care Centre. She has obtained her Phd in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a dissertation theme: " The psychiatric comorbidity of anorexia nervosa: a comparative study in a population of French and Greek anorexic patients”. She has written the chapter "Troubles des conduites alimentaires" in the collective psychiatric textbook "Manuel de psychiatry clinique et psychopathologique de l'adulte" (Presses Universitaires de France, 2012), she has published articles in international and Greek journals and has participated with lectures in medical conferences.
